When: Saturday, May 22nd Start at 10:00 am Where: Blossburg off Mullen Pass Road, west side of McDonald Pass toward Elliston. Will be riding the Marysville trail system; start and finish at Blossburg. Map Below $5.00 per poker hand, no limit on poker hands. There will also be 50/50, Raffle Baskets, Food, Door Prizes! All poker hands due in at 3:00 pm, winners will be drawn at 3:30. No late hands accepted fter 3:30pm!! Must be present for all prizes! |

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, has cosponsored a resolution that would compel the Department of Interior to release information related to a planned misuse of the Antiquities Act to designate 13 million acres of land in 11 different Western states, including Montana, as National Monuments. The original plans were uncovered when an internal memo was leaked. Rehberg joined fellow members of the House Western Caucus in sending a letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar demanding the full memo and related documents. |

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Montana's Congressman, Denny Rehberg, is opposing a move to have wilderness study areas managed as de facto wilderness through bypassing current law that gives authority to designate wilderness areas to Congress. "It seems some in the House have forgotten why they are in Congress," said Rehberg, a member of the House Appropriations Committee. "The Wilderness Act clearly requires Congress to designate new wilderness, yet some are trying to bypass the law, the will of the American people, and the checks and balances of the Constitution to reward their special interest group friends." |

On March 9, 2010, Candice Berner, a 32 year-old special education teacher working in Chignik Lake, Alaska, went jogging at dusk on a road near town and was attacked and killed by wolves. Wolves might be beautiful animals, but they are becoming deadly to humans in North America. On October 28, 2009, Canadian folk singer Taylor Mitchell was hiking in a Provincial Park in Nova Scotia when she was attacked and killed by two coyotes, which were subsequently identified by park rangers as a wolf-coyote hybrid. |
